Family Party

We didn't get a ton of unique pictures at the boys family birthday party, but that is ok.  We had the party a week earlier than we typically do, because it worked better for everyone else (and we're flexible!) 
Mike had back surgery a the week before the party, so he and Dorothy were in town for that, and were able to stay.  He is doing so much better than he was before the surgery and we are all so thankful for that.  He will have a long road to complete normal, but he is well on his way.  We were glad that they were able to celebrate with us. 
Mat had been in Haiti on a church mission trip the week prior to the party, so Marbree and P came in to pick him up from the airport and they all stayed for about 24 hours to enjoy the party.  The boys love love love having cousin P around and as they get older they all really have a fun time together and don't require so much supervision ;) 
We love having Uncle "Candy" and Aunt Emily in town, and Dad and Dena got to come too.  They went to DC to help out with Cousin A and L the next week, so early was better.  Unfortunately Aunt Emily had a work thing to be at so she couldn't celebrate with us, but we are still looking foward to seeing her soon!
We are grateful for the gifts...a Magic House membership, MoBot membership, money for swim lessons, toys, shirts, books, puzzles...we have a generous family!

N was hilarious.  He was so excited that Nate was bringing him cake he just wanted to turn around and hug him! 

 

 

 

One of the presents from Mike and Dorothy was that the boys could get the biggest handful however they wanted from this bucket of change.
