Oh Christmas Tree, Part 2

Once the boys were all finally feeling better they all have had a chance to enjoy the tree.  We have a clicker for the lights....off, on, off, on, off, on....pulled out of the wall plug....click, click, click, click....MAMA?
My ornaments have taken a beating.  I think only one has actually broken (and Z accidently dropped that one while we were hanging them up), but countless others have been mangled and confiscated.  In fact, here are before and after pictures.

And here is what the tree currently looks like (do you see C on the floor grabbing for the light clicker?).  Luckily when the lights are on you can't really tell.
Here are a few more of the boys just checking the tree out.

N and L showing me their "bel-bu" (belly button).  Even though the last one of just L isn't really focused, get a load of the belly on him!!!

Oh Christmas Tree

For the past 3 years, we have gone and cut down our own tree.  Last year we even took the jog stroller!  We planned on going this year again, but I misplanned.  Normally I would plan on one weekend and have the next as a backup.  Didn't work this year, so we had one date, which fell in the midst of the plague at our house.  To top it off, it was raining and cold.  I still considered dragging us all out there, but reason finally caught up with me.
So we went to a tree lot and Z picked out a good tree.  It was cold, windy, and misting, and it took longer for me to unload and then reload the little boys (hats, coats, shoes, mittens) than it did for us to pick out the tree.
We came home and I (not Nate) was still convinced that we might be able to get a good picture by the tree in pj's for a Christmas card, so we ate a quick dinner and I bathed the kids.  We got pjs on and I started letting the kids play with the lights (I didn't even bother with letting them try to hang up ornaments).  L was crying and whining, then puked all over the floor.  Why I even bother, I don't know.  So there went the family picture idea...I guess we'll try again later...That is why L is dressed in the first few pictures and not in the next few ;)
After the little boys went to bed, Z and I hung ornaments.  It was so fun to have him this year!  Nate doesn't care too much about the decorating part, so I was happy to have company.  Nate was a trooper and took pictures, though.  Since the tree has been up, probably half the ornaments have come off, and several have broken entirely.  Life, I suppose, with 3 little boys.
