Baltimore Aquarium and hotels

Today we headed to the Baltimore Aquarium.  It was a bit of a splurge but we had fun.  It was actually a pretty big aquarium and had sections other than just fish...there was a jungle type section and an Australia type section.  Kind of random for an aquarium but we all enjoyed it.  And it was a rainy day (glad we opted out of the beach) so it was a great inside activity.  And since it was in downtown Baltimore and it was raining, we got the pleasure of picnicking in the parking garage.  ;) It was totally full except for the top level, which worked out well for us, because there was a bit more room for us to eat!

Then we hit the worst traffic we've ever seen! We left at 4 (yes, rush hour) and figured it would take us 1.5 hours to the hotel.  No.  3+ hours later, after pouring rain, rush hour traffic, construction...we made it.  I've never been so glad to have a DVD in the car! The boys did wonderfully but we were all a bit crabby when we got to the hotel. 

Hotels were one of the highlights of our trip.  Pools (which we had to ourselves most of the time!), breakfast buffets (all that food...what to eat?!), TV, sleeping all together...how can you beat that??  Of course some of the kiddos had a bit too much fun (N...!) so he got in trouble a few times ;)
