Family party

We are so grateful to have family who love to celebrate our boys with us!  

This year Dad, Dena, and Emily were able to come (Emily rarely is able to make it because of work so we were so glad so could come!).  Mike and Dorothy came down and Andy and Emily got to come as well!  Mike and Dorothy took the boys to Target and let them pick out some Legos, and Dad and Dena got the boys tickets to a Bugs Bunny show at Powell Hall (I'm sure I'll mention that more when it arrives). 

The boys LOVE this strawberry shortcake cake by the Pioneer Woman and have been asking for it for ages, so we opted for this yummy fabulous treat for the group birthday cake.  Yummmmmy.  

We sing and bring out cake to each boy individually, in order of their birth.  It's a long 4 times in a row but each boy honestly loves to be sung to individually, and their faces are priceless.  So worth it.  

Z decided that he was going to "direct" us in our singing, hence his arms over his head ;)

None of us knew it (even me and Nate) but his cake had an old candle that kept relighting on it.  Pretty hilarious for all of us when he kept not being able to blow it out!

This face pretty much sums up N.  This kid has more spunk and attitude!

Pretty ridiculous how long it took my kids to figure out how many fingers to put up.  I guess L thought he was actually still 4, C wanted 5, N looks like he is thinking, and Z seriously couldn't figure out how to make 8. 

We ended the evening watching a movie we bought for them...my heart could not have been more full. :)
