At Z's winterfest at school.

This was a fun new tradition we started this year.  We let the boys draw names secretly for each other and they got to get their secret person a gift.  We hung out in the Target aisle and let them each bring 2-4 things to an endcap where we collected them.  Then we let each boy individually choose which of those to buy for their secret brother.  The boys loved it!  :)

I love to get out all of our music boxes.  They were mom's and they just sound like Christmas to me.  Love the the boys are enjoying them too. 

We let the boys get on pj's to get hot chocolate and look at lights.  L was NOT into the pjs, so we didn't force it! 

 

We got out the advent calendar but we are actually pretty bad at remembering to do it.  We read a book called The Jesse Tree every morning at Christmas that is a good countdown too, and I much prefer it, but the calendar is a fun tradition as well.
