Late summer fun

The littles and I have done a bit of running around since everyone started back to school.  We have spent a lot of time at home, too, though...

We have been to the Butterfly House twice!  The boys loved using their maps to locate the different types of butterflies.  The second time we went we went with our friends down the street, and they happened to be making a short movie for the Butterfly House and they used our kiddos in part of it!  Will have to see if they actually use that part! 

 We borrowed a friends car (long story not worth explaining)...and she has 2 daughters.  The boys had a heyday playing with all of the girl accessories in the car!

 The boys had a fun time in the "NICU" at the Magic House.  Every time I'm in there it just brings back memories of these sweet (big) boys being in there...seems like forever ago. 

 We got to go to the City Garden, this time with the pool open.  It was so so so blazing hot for the last 2-3 weeks so it felt fabulous for us all to just hang out in the water. 

We also all made it to the pool several more times, since it took until the last 2 weeks of summer to really get hot.  It was amazing to see how much progress ALL of the littles have made swimming this summer...from pretty much not at all to being able to swim/dog paddle (some more than others).  C and N can make it probably a half a length of the pool while L can make it about a quarter.  (He gets scared and doesn't trust himself more than the fact that he can't actually do it).
Summer wrapped up pretty well!  :)
