Z's party

We decided to let Z have a few friends over for his birthday.  He invited his 2 good friends that he spends all of his time with, along with the little girl across the street who we play with all the time. 

 

He opted to go bowling.  Thankfully all of the big kids had gone before and got the idea, since it was the littles first time.  The big kids had a really good time and were cheering for each other and being (appropriately) silly.  So fun to watch Z like that.  The littles loved the ramp and it made life pretty easy for us...once they realized that they COULD NOT all carry the balls around up on the wood part!

 

We did have to tell the boys about a million times to NOT touch the computer...I think that they thought it was a game...poor attendants at the front must have been called several times...thankfully (?) they ignored us!

After we bowled a game I took them home and we ordered pizza, ate cake, and opened presents. 

Z got 3 new Lego sets.  2 are already built.  Yikes. 

By the end of the night Nate let them each play a round of Temple Run :)

So thankful for this big boy of ours.  He has chosen good friends, and it is a blessing to watch him interact with them.  I am excited to see his friendships over the years. 

(Sidenote:  this party was on a Sunday, and the following Friday was a half day, so they all came over after school again.  So glad to be able to open our house and that they all want to come and play!)
