Bike Ride

We checked out another portion of the Meramec Greenway today on a bike ride.  It totaled a 6 mile ride.  It was so nice!  The leaves were beautiful and the path was easy and empty.  The boys did ok.  N and L always take some extra prodding.  ;) At one point we were about 100 yards ahead of N and could just hear him screaming that he was done and wanted to go back.  This was about 1/2 mile from the turn around point ;) The end was at the river where we stopped to throw rocks and look at the wildlife around us.  From that point, C started crying because HE wanted to go more! 
At the end of the ride, N's bike chain fell off.  In the last mile, it probably fell off 6 times.  ugh.  So grateful it was at the very end!  (We fixed it entirely later when we got home). 

You can't tell here, but N had been screaming for the last 1/2 mile and had only grudgingly come to the edge of the river to throw rocks.  ;)
