One of our (ok, my) favorite fall activities is the Balloon Glow. :)
This year we went with our neighbors and their girls.
This was the first year that we were able to enjoy it for longer than about 5 minutes. We were able to wander up and down between all of the balloons, and talked about favorites. We talked to a balloon operator who let us look in the basket and get close and feel the heat and hear the noise of the fire as he turned it on. It was pretty cool.
I love that my children read...I love it. Couldn't make it here without some books to pass the time until the balloons were up. (We take books EVERYWHERE. Games, in the car, to piano lessons...any time there might be a few minutes to read or the boys will need something to entertain themselves. Toys, no need. Books, absolutely.)
