Monday June 9: We decided to go to a bigger library this summer instead of our normal one. It has been fabulous and the boys have enjoyed a bigger selection of books to scan through. We spent over an hour here today. We spent the rest of the day hanging out and playing with legos. We also went to Steak N Shake for Grandma Lora's birthday.
Tuesday June 10: We
went to the Science Center with one of Z’s friends. The boys got to try out a new (to them)
section where they got to be lab assistants…pretty fun.
Wednesday June 11: We
went to see Despicable Me 2 in the dollar theater with friends, then had
lunch.
Thursday June 12: Dentist appointments x4. No cavities...hooray!
Friday June 13:
We went to Six Flags for the second time this year. We got passes and went as a family in April,
but this time we went with one of Z’s friends families. All of the boys have a good time. We’ve been impressed and excited to get the
littles on most of the rides, and the big boys have been daring and have tried
new roller coasters each time. Makes me
happy. After Six Flags we went to their neigborhood pool and swam. They all slept well that night :)
Saturday June 14: The boys
are playing t-ball again this year. For several reasons we were not able to
coach this year and are BUMMED because their coach is awful and we might as
well be coaching it. We have not been
impressed and have skipped practices because they are just so worthless and
frustrating, and we are better able to have our own “practice” at home
anyway. But they still are playing
games, and they’re pretty cute in uniform.
They have played better this year than they did last year, so that’s
good, right? We also went to a baseball game for Z, and this evening we went to a BBQ with some of Z's school friends and families.
