Thanksgiving

We were so glad to have all of Nate's side of the family in town over Thanksgiving!  Mike and Dorothy stayed with us 2 nights and Mat, Marbree, and Peter stayed with us 2 nights.  

We filled our days...we crafted with Grandma and played with the new nailers she brought, and read with Papa on Wednesday. 

 

 

 

 

We ate a yummy meal (and the boys even got to eat at their own table...which worked...sort of!), played Wii, watched Planes, looked at Black Friday ads, went to a playground, played cards, and ate some more at Andy and Emily's on Thursday.   

 

 

 

 

Friday Marbree and I made a quick Black Friday run, then we all ate pizza, played with Legos, played on the Kindle, watched The Princess Bride, and played Settlers of Catan.  The funniest part might have been when Nate and Mat took all the littles downstairs to wrestle.  Nate is used to all 4 of them on him, but Mat wasn't...and when Nate thought he would "help" the littles out by messing with Mat...amusing :) 

Saturday 4 of us (me, Z, Marbree, and Mat) ran a combined 19 miles (Mat did 9, he's training for a half!), took family pictures at JC Penney, and played with sidewalk chalk.



It was a full, fun weekend...we are blessed to have family close by to spend it with.  And the boys loved loved loved spending time with cousin P and all the rest of the family :)
