July 4th

It was a busy, busy 4th of July, which was super fun for me :) 

We started at the WG parade.  Thankfully this year we did NOT melt our faces off like we did last year (80* this year, 95* last year!)

We went home and had lunch, then took off on a bike ride on part of the Meramec Greenway.  We rode 1.8 miles, then stopped at this playground, then back again.  The boys did great!

 

We headed to the pool to cool off a bit, then went home to grab some cash then out to buy some fireworks.  We only got sparklers, pop-ums, snakes, and a few other small ones, but it was enough for our first year.  

 

We finished our fun (long) day off at Kirkwood Park watching the fireworks with Dad, Dena, and Emily.  At one point I had all four boys leaning up against me and my heart was full, full, full.  Life is good!
