May (pre summer)

Z had an Environmental Fair that he put on with his gifted class.  In fact, it was all of the first graders who go to his gifted school, so I think there are about 100ish kids?  At any rate, it was a big thing.  They made things to sell (we got his bird house) and had games for the kids to play, there was a raffle, etc.  All of the proceeds went to the World Bird Sanctuary.  He was proud of it, so we were glad to go with him.  We were also glad to have Dad and Dena join us :)  He is pointing at the shirt that has his drawing on it...his was one of the drawings chosen to go on the shirt.

We took a bike ride up to an ice cream place by our house.  We had been telling the kids we could ride there if they practiced riding.  It is up a decent hill so we knew they would have to have strong legs.  They did pretty well, N cried on his way up the hill (it's too harrrrrrd!)  But they finally made it all the way up and we got there and shared a few concretes.  Yum!

We went to the grand opening of the Lego store at the mall.  Everyone loved it, of course.

The boys have taken to holding hands when they walk places.  LOVE it!  C is almost always in the middle.  I think it is because he likes to hold hands. 

Z had his end of year ceremony for Cub Scouts and he has gone from a Tiger Cub to a Wolf Cub.  We played at the Boy Scout camp nearby here.  Z could have gone off with a few friends to play, but opted to stay with the brothers.  I LOVE how our boys play together.  LOVE love love.  They are all such good friends and are so content to be with each other.  It makes my heart so full.
