Cars

All the boys in this house love the movie Cars.  It is the first real movie that the little boys have watched and liked.  (Z's first movie was Finding Nemo.)  They are hilarious when they watch it.  They jump around and point and go "Whoa! Oh!" and shout out the names "Ya-ya!!!! (Lightning) Chik-Hik! Keeee!!!  Doc!".  It is pretty hilarious. 
This past weekend some life size cars from Cars 2 were touring as a promotion (it comes out this summer), so we thought we would go see them.  Talk about a fail!  Saturday morning we went, walked forever, and finally got to the line, which was over an hour long.  And, crazy as it is, it was freeezing and had started snowing (which resulted in almost 5 inches of snow!).  So we turned around.  Then tried again after church on Sunday, but the line was long again, so we thought we would go back after naptime.  Since C and N decided not to nap, and woke up L early, we got back to the Cars place about 330, but since it closed at 4, and the line was an hour long, we didn't even get to get in line. No one really knew what we were doing, so no one was too disappointed, but still.
We also got some more hand-me-downs from Marbree and a friend of hers, which included 3 Cars shirts.  I have never seen my kids move so fast to get dressed!  They have enjoyed wearing them today.  :) It was awesome that there were three, since if there was only one or two, I wouldn't have let the boys wear them...I try to be fair, here.  And it would have been ugly if someone got left out!

I got the boys a Cars Search and Find book at Barnes and Noble with a gift card from Aunt Maggie, and they love it too.  Z has gotten so good at reading with them.  He asks in his sweet voice, "Boys, can you find Lightning?  Goood!  I'm so proud of you!  Boys, can you find the gas can?  No, that's not it, keep trying!"
