16 months-L

A few notes on L...

• 
  
  He is typically our night owl, often up and talking way after the other boys are asleep. He also, though, is almost always the last boy up at naptime.
• He is a giggly boy. Stuff just cracks him up, and he is ticklish all over. He will throw his head back so you can get his neck. He will take a toy from a brother and while the brother screams, L cracks up and thinks it is a great game.
• He is super independent. He doesn't care what anyone else is doing...he will do his own thing. He is almost always last to get somewhere (another room, or wherever I want them), and once he gets something in his head, he is doing it (if he wants to walk down the street, there is no amount of calling or coercing that will change his mind).
• He doesn't really like to play in the water, but loves the bath.  
• He, too, will eat anything. Including food off the floor (that he has thrown off) or food off the other boys trays.  HE has a gut like you wouldn't believe.   
• He is the most physical...that is a nice way of saying he hits. He hits in the face, not maliciously though, more like he doesn't know what he is doing. Sometimes it is mean, but not often. We remember Z doing the same thing.
• He is also the least physical...which is a nice way of saying he is clumsy. He still hasn't figured out how to go down the stairs without help (he just lays down and tries to go down headfirst). He takes the longest on hills and rough terrain.
• He is a grunts and growls to communicate.
• Since he is so laid back, he is almost always last to get something (food, drink, out of bed, into bed, whatever).
• He is a headbanger...not on an actual surface, but like a heavy metal headbanger. And he laughs as he does it.
